Purchased the GTX 570 over the 580 due to substantially lower price and marginally lower benchmark tests. Replaced SLI setup of 8800 GTS cards - cut power requirements by 70% and heat substantially. Non-gaming temp is 40 - 45 deg C, under gaming load it rises to 60 or so, but not any higher.
